LETS TALK PROPS
Practising at home is great when you know you cut out the studio travel and therefore have more time to do other things. Studios, however, have all the props you need to make your home practice work best for you. It’s harder to take part in a yin class or restorative time if you don’t have the equipment to support the work. Below is a little list of what is useful to have and what you could improvise with:
Yoga Mat - could use a towel, camping mattress
Blocks/Bricks - could use thick book, water bottle
Strap - could use a belt, scarf, towel
Bolster - could use 1 or 2 thicker/more stable pillows
